Lore

TBD

Silver Dragons are chivalrous guardians of humankind, who often live among humans in shapeshifted disguises. They like to shepherd human civilization by mentoring great heroes or rulers, and genuinely enjoy the company of mortals, partaking of their culture, storytelling, and music. Like most dragons, they are loathe to intervene directly in mortal affairs unless other dragons opposed to their ethos threaten the realm, although Silver Dragons are not above appearing from time to time to protect favored regions. Their minions are human spellcasters or holy knights who swear an oath to uphold the good, as the dragon sees it, and maintain the dragon’s secret identity. They prefer to collect human antiquities and art, such as musical instruments, illuminated manuscripts, lineal artifacts, and historical relics, but out of a need for preservation of such objects instead of greed. The Silver Dragon’s breath weapon is a cold silvery gas that slows and paralyzes all those subject to it.
