Chaos Dragons store their treasure hoard in a pocket dimension that also serves as their lair. Such lairs are host to various Astral minions suffused with wild magic. The Chaos Dragon can fish treasures out of this dimension at will. Its reality bubble emits latent wild magic that affects the entire encounter rather than a melee space. Whenever any spell is cast in the area of effect (with the exception of spells cast by the Chaos Dragon), the spellcaster must follow the rules describing a chaos surge in the Chaos Mage kit.
