- Spirit Jar (Dying):
When the monster dies, its spirit returns to its native realm, or to a magical receptacle that binds it (see the monster's description). Once its spirit is thus vouchsafed, the monster may later reincarnate in the material realm after a specified period of time. Destroying the monster's spirit permanently requires A) killing the monster in its native realm, or B) performing a special ritual that binds the spirit in order to later exorcise it, at the GM's discretion.
Lore
TBD
These demons are powerful tacticians or sorcerers that lead demonic armies. In life, they were once dictators or tyrants who presided over domains of suffering, or beings of great power who sought to usurp the power of the gods, and were thus cast down. Cosmologically, they represent wrath, envy, and conflict. Prideful, obsessed with conquest, and desiring to overthrow the divine order to impose their will upon it. They appear as fully armored, horrific many-armed warriors of towering size and strength. The Asura can summon lesser demons from the Astral Veil to aid it in combat.
