A Death Knight is a fallen paladin or other holy warrior whose soul was corrupted due to misdeeds he performed in life. While malevolent in nature, they tend to be honorable and true to their word. Death Knights are always equipped with magic armor and treasure. Death Knights ride an undead mount, but the mount is spiritually inseparable from the Knight, and cannot be slain separately from it.
